Parachuting

At LKSO airfield, we operate parachute jumps from an Antonov An-2 biplane. The An-2 is a legendary aircraft perfectly suited for skydiving operations thanks to its rugged design and spacious cargo cabin.

How it works

Parachutists board the An-2 directly at the airfield. The aircraft climbs to the jump altitude (typically 1,000–4,000 m) and skydivers exit over the airfield landing area. The An-2 can carry up to 10–12 parachutists per flight.

Who is it for

• Licensed parachutists with their own equipment
• Students in parachute training (static line, tandem)
• Anyone interested in a tandem jump (by arrangement with an instructor)

Practical information

• Jumps take place on some weekends during the season (April–October)
• Prior arrangement of the date is required
• Every parachutist must have valid insurance and qualifications
• Operations depend on weather, especially cloud cover, visibility and wind strength
